Response to campaign question from member of www.waccobb.net…

Colleen, I’d like to say that these are not core values. These are political aims, or taken together, an agenda which is BASED on your core values. Your values are admirable and I share many of them. If you really want votes and want to differentiate yourself as a candidate then please tell us how you are going to DO any of these things. Pick any 5 items you are promising to take care of in this list. If you can outline how you plan to accomplish any of this then you will stand out like a 50 carat diamond in a cesspool and you will have no trouble getting elected. We get promises every election. Our values are known and paraded before us every election. We need more than promises, we need someone with a PLAN. I would be very happy if you have one. Thanks- Cal

*****
Good question.

We fund our true values; in our personal and professional budgets, purchases, and investments of time and money. Our elected officials fund the ones they are pressured to, or enjoy funding; or gain from funding.

I’ll give you my top 5 core values, I will swear to uphold, as policy and budget items; but not until we address #1 first.

Human Rights & Due Process For ALL

Pass a bill ending all unconstitutional, strike-first: acts of “war”, missions, policies, and appropriations.

Look up Senator Feinstien’s first act when she won the 2006 election.

In 2007, she put forth Resolution 3; a bill to sunset Public Law 107-243. That’s the one where the House and Senate allowed Bush to Occupy Iraq; without a declaration of war. We know the premise for that “shock and awe” military invasion of a sovereign nation, was based on deliberately false information.

In the 2006 Democratic Primary; this was my #1 platform issue. I challenged Californian Voters to challenge me, Feinstein; and all Candidate’s, to take a stand on this.

That’s why nearly 200,000 voters voted for peace, when they voted for me that year; landing me in second place.

I don’t know how many people took the other steps, and contacted her, to let her know this was a deal breaker issue. The result was; she took the issue to a Republican led committee, where it was safe & easy to let it die.

I don’t know why voters didn’t require our elected officials to deliver the needed results, on de-funding strike first, undeclared war for the 2 years the Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and White House.

Solutions? Here’s a start; make this a deal breaker for: every seat, in every election.

Local, state, and federal budgets are co-dependent. Dan Hamburg, from the Mendocino Board of Supervisors said just this; when I brought it up at the Economic Forum put on by the Sonoma County Human Rights Commission, yesterday in Santa Rosa.

It’s time we all require all government officials, who swore the oath of office – to uphold it now! Require them to pass a declaration calling for the end to all funding for military acts done, without a declaration of war from Congress.

Can’t repair all the local infrastructure & economies till they do; let alone go for all the new things we need for an inheritable future.

I’ve been “Occupying” the meetings and offices of local, State and federal officials for the last ten years with these facts.

The line item in our Federal budget is Department of Defense. To fund any other means of offensive military action, with any branch of: the military, special forces, CIA, FBI, State & local law enforcement; or contractor; is
a violation of our State and US Constitutions.

This is where the oath of office, is the power given to those sworn to it.

A) Take peaceful, legal action with our “domestic enemies”.

10 House members, including Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich, did this in the DC Circuit court. It needs to be updated and given to a higher court. This can be a big game changer for the General Presidential Election this Fall.

B) Take peaceful action at your polling place.

Be a Voter For PEACE! Pledge to vote only for Candidates For PEACE!

Before you go; compel all the candidates to take a stand on ending all strike first operations; and resulting debt, and environmental devastation, destroying the quality of life of our entire population, and planet.

C) Call for a Cease Fire

On 9/7/01 the United Nations ratified an agreement for an annual day of cease fire for all. The first one was being held in New York City the morning of 9/11; and halted due to the attacks. The date for this action was moved to September 21st.

The United States has not delivered a call for our troops to ever cease fire, since we signed this agreement. It’s time we honor our troops, and everyone’s human rights; with a promise to uphold this contract.

Please see the work of Peace One Day for the details on that; and what is being done each year to celebrate the International Day Of Peace. www.peaceoneday.org

Join, or produce an activity for your community, so we demonstrate the non-violence at home; which we want to see in the world.

D) Help make the Campaign For PEACE! into a PAC for all “Candidates For PEACE!”; in all races!

It would involve a simple pledge of an oath, to uphold your Oath of Office; swearing to protect and defend the Constitution, from enemies foreign, and domestic. A binding commitment to de-fund all strike-first military actions; fund and authorize only Constitutional acts of war, and Defense; authorized by Congress.

I lost the little traction I had on this, and Songs For a Cease Fire, when crime disrupted my family 2 1/2 years ago. Then more tragically, when my daughter went missing this April 14th; and found deceased 4/20/12.

I’ve had no peace; due to her father’s refusal to honorably deal with her funeral, remains, and her possessions First, I had to be the Private Investigator, and police oversight committee; then my own lawyer – my hell is far from over.

Charlotte’s Law will be one of the first bills I’ll work to introduce on a state, and federal level; as a private citizen, or elected official. No one else should be harmed by the broken parts of our justice, and law enforcement systems.

I really need this village’s support on may levels. Injustice is prevailing so deeply for my family; and too many other ones to count.

Please help me root it out; and replace it with something which works in a more balanced way for all of us. Then we’ll have the resources to make our home, work, play, & habitats: safe, sound and thriving.

I’ve put too much into getting on the ballot to give up now; the issues are more critical than ever.

Ending our barbaric strike-first policies; is way overdue.

The means only benefit the 1%, while the cost is on the backs of the 99%, for countless generations to come.

That’s why the other 4 + issues must wait; until the majority align and take action on this.

When Occupy got a focus; and launched Move Your Money – we got tremendous positive results; no harm needed to be done; except for the reduction in returns for the 1%’s bottom line.

To me, the murder we carry out each day, in the name of the “war on terror”; is a far worse crime, than the theft which Wall St.; etc. profit from; without consequence, or proper oversight.

Peacefully, take the need for the US to lead all conflicts with peace – to the streets.

This is how we compelled our electeds to end the Viet Nam occupation.

How can we expect any sovereign nation, or tribe to have successful peace talks, and cease fires; if we refuse to lead by example?

(Ask Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer, & Feinstein, etc.; what’s up with that. They’re not just women, they are mothers. But they are continuing the male dominated policies, which destroy life.)

Wake up; we’re deep into 2012. Making sure that every person you vote for; is pledged to end the murder and Ecocide done in our name, with our debt and blood; has never been more important.

E) Make sure you know what, who your voting for, stands for; or against.

F) Make sure they will deliver on what you require of them.

G) Make sure your vote is accurately counted.

Getting America’s real core values accurately defined and represented
in local, state and federal funding is not rocket science.
It is real work.

Please encourage all you know to do it well;
peacefully respecting everyone’s sovereign rights.

I hope you find time to enjoy Mother’s Day.

Love & thanks ,

Colleen Fernald

As I work through the details of my daughter Charlotte’s memorials & projects; I am continuing the Campaign For PEACE.

Please forgive my delay in response; I do not have all the assistance I need just yet.

It’s impossible to tell you all how much it means to receive so much kindness from friends, strangers, and supporters. I am deeply moved.

Also very flattered to get so many calls, letters and e mails from an equal amount of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, Green Party, etc. Patriots, and “no party” Voters.

I know I’m on track as the only Omni-partisan Candidate. This confirms my notion that it’s the parties that are a big part of the problem. Am I right on that?

If we co-create the ideal platform we want served; and tell all candidates what it takes to get our votes; then we all win; if we continue to assist the top voter getter in delivering it.

I remain dedicated to doing the best I can, to be a conduit for the 99% to Occupy the United States Senate seat in 2012.

Safe, effective General Assemblies on the local, State and national level, can help blend the solutions for our challenges to restore, and protect California, and our country; much better than a 1% controlled: House and Senate & President can. Right?

2/3rds of the states; working in concert together on vital issues, could literally save the world; and our own butts. I think it’s worth it to keep trying; don’t you?

That’s why the Campaign For PEACE is here; when you support it; you are supporting yourself.

Please stay tuned for updates. Keep me posted on your top 5 issues; the “deal breakers” it takes to get your vote.

Here’s a few of my core values. Do they align with yours?

I will work for PEACE; a cease fire for ALL!

I will work for affordable wellness-care for all citizens; with personal choice as a priority.

I’ll for for equal rights, for 100% of Americans.

I will work for the balanced best interest of YOU & Main Street.

Count on me for building the Made In The USA, and Made In California brand; as the best bets to bailing us out of the 1%ed tanked economy.

(Wall Street & The Federal Reserve, etc.; have run us into the potholes of toxic living, on risky gambles. We’re smart enough to engineer our way out; while we protect our state’s natural resources; and grow a reliant, clean energy network.)

I’ll work for the small, non-GMO farmers for all our local food security needs. I’ll stand to protect the bees; and other native life forms in peril.

I will work to ensure clean & balanced water security for all of California’s precious watersheds.

I aim to reduce the need for abortions to zero; while respecting every individual’s right to their own choice.

I’ll work to reduce the risks to our air; our privacy; our rights and due process, our system of justice.

I’ll try to undo the permanent Marshall Law we are nearly under. Although, I’ll really need your help. (Let’s make it easier; being the best citizens we can, to lead by example.)

I promise to work for an inheritable future for all children.

I pledge to fund a strong, prepared, non-toxic, non-nuclear Department of DEFENSE; through polices which do not include striking first; or depart from our requirement of only Congress authorizing the use of force; through a declaration of war.

I pledge to use the California, and US Constitutions to get us all there.

Does this work for you? Please let all the Candidates know. This will better ensure we get the will of the majority filled for a real change.

Thank you for your warm wishes, votes, outreach and support!

Colleen Fernald

The Un-political choice for California’s US Senate seat.

Much thanks,

Colleen Fernald
This is a draft. Will you endorse it?

1/9/11
To: All Federal and State elected representatives;
County Board of Supervisors;
City Council Members, Mayors;
and all Municipal Staff
All Emergency Services Officials
From: We The People

We The People, request for you to:

Patriotically participate with us, in our “Occupy” upon, and for Public Space, using our Constitutionally given Freedom of Speech and Peaceful Assembly; regarding peace, justice, human rights for all; and appropriate funding levels for all State, and local governments.

Our beautiful, diverse human lives, from joyful to tragic; as UNITED States Occupiers, is reflected as an ongoing performance art installation – until our top priorities are being properly served.

This is not camping, if we wanted to camp, we’d choose a better spot!
The primary values of our country’s Main Street must be met; while the way our Federal government functions with: the Federal Reserve, international trade agreements and practices, large banks, the stock market, and others outside the USA – is corrected.

We are willing to respectfully dialogue with you,
until we can find fair, sensible agreements with you; always.

For now, we will focus on the top one; ending all unconstitutional “wars”.
|
Pass a resolution calling for the President, and Congress to:

De-fund all acts of “war”, done without a Constitutional declaration of war.

Call for an international cease fire.

Pass a bill directing a full United States military, and Contractor Cease Fire.

4)Lead the way for the rest of the world, in ending all use of Nuclear weapons and power.

5) Initiate the Department of Peace; with Congressman Kucinich as the Top Official.

No more first strike war; for any nation, or village.
If we lead a cease fire, the others will follow.

If, We The People, insist that all elected representatives of the US
call for, and only fund missions, and methods of defense;
there will be no incentive for any others to strike us first.

End all optional military actions, and there will be funds to:
restore our infrastructure; and all other local and State government needs; and to:restore better equality, and quality of life, for us all!

Time for
AmericaCARE
No more unconstitutional WWIII

Insist that, NO more appropriations are funded with our current enormous debt,
for missions of strike-first nature; and demise of our quality of life.

Speak your truth to power; require power speak the truth.

Let’s Occupy each local government’s Public Comment time at their meetings, to peacefully, clearly state the results we want.

Show them the vision of the solution, not the problem. Then they will have something to work with. Sharing this as Occupy’s top goal; we have the power to end all optional conflicts.

Patriotically, we can co-create peace; one local elected body at a time;
and empower each State to protect its own, and our Constitutional rights.

My gratitude to all of you, brave enough to peacefully keep it going, until we obtain the needed results.

Patriotically in PEACE!,

Victory for Occupy Santa Rosa – November 2, 2011

Open letter to the Thom Hartmann Show Producers & Santa Rosa City Council Members, & Press Democrat:

Thanks to the Thom Hartmann show for having me on the day after the Occupy Santa Rosa victory with City Hall,(1/2/11) and for keeping a big, and honest spotlight on the Occupy movement.

Hope we do it again; with other members of Occupy Santa Rosa, and Santa Rosa City Council members who’ve been consistently supportive of social & environmental justice.

I’d bet 99% of those there agree, only the one Council member who voted against camping for Occupy SR, and the Press Democrat “reporter”/agent, saw any veiled threats by the speakers; as mentioned in the 11/2/11 article.

I think the rest of us saw what it really was, earnest: love, compassion, respect, dedication to support our Constitutional rights; as well as, willingness to find working solutions for impacts created by the SR Occupation.

I saw brave citizens, with a rich diversity of: age, race, profession, political alignment, and income; who are willing to risk the harsh elements, and arrest, in order to protect the rights for us all; which are being more diminished each day.

(In the PD’s online photo gallery; that’s me in the pink sweater; using the non-violent communication skills the Occupy Santa Rosa folks have in place.)

After 8 years, of nearly once a week, occupying City Hall, requesting they use their power to uphold & protect the Constitution, to end unconstitutional war policies and funding; this was an amazing victory for We The People.

I am honored to having been able to bear witness, and deliver essential testimony.

Thank you Santa Rosa City Council, Staff and emergency services for understanding the importance of yielding, when extra-ordinary times, require extra-ordinary ordinances.

That’s the beauty of local governance, hearing and serving the people they’re delegated to serve.

Let’s continue to meet like this; not with the deaf ear many of you have given me until now.

So much more is possible when you freely serve people’s Constitutional rights, and the needs of Main Street; instead of just: Wall Street & Banks, here and around the world – too big to fail(?), the Federal Reserve, your campaign donors, trans-national corporation, & unsustainable fuels Lobbyist, etc.

Everyone, please encourage your families & friends to peacefully Occupy City Hall, County Board of Supervisors, your State Capitol, offices of every Senator & Congressperson, and especially the White House.

The moral, and fiscal price of the US Occupy of: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, etc. is too high for our security, and debt to bear.

Once we correct this failed policy and expenditure; we can get to the next top 4 issues we find consensus for. Then work through the next top 5 issues; and so, on until we have balanced justice for all.

The full needs of AmericaCARE will be met; once unconstitutional warfare is de-funded.

Let’s encourage the Occupy movement to help form Constitutional Candidates for PEACE! & Constitutional Voters for PEACE! PAC’s for those who pledge an oath, to uphold their Oath of Office; which empowers them to work to protect everyone’s Constitutional Rights. Including the terms and conditions for going to war – only with a declaration from Congress; and only for defense, not offense. The other is a list of voters committed to only vote for Constitutional Candidates for PEACE!

Slumber no more; we are the majority. We ARE the ones we’ve been waiting for!

Patriotically in PEACE!,

Occupy Santa Rosa protesters won another reprieve from eviction Tuesday when the City Council rejected a proposed Monday deadline for the removal of the City Hall encampment, agreeing instead to start negotiations on a permit to allow the camping to continue.

The decision was cheered by protesters and followed by nearly three hours of passionate public testimony that several council members praised as a stirring display of civic engagement.

“I am overcome by your passion, your commitment, your emotion and your very sad stories,” said Susan Gorin, who teared up as she spoke. “We are witnessing history.”

Councilman Jake Ours also lauded the enormity of what the group had undertaken and the respectful manner in which they had conducted themselves.

“You’re trying to change our country and that’s not a little thing,” Ours said…
